HAM STEAK WITH APRICOT SAUCE
This is great---cheap---quick------and one of the few ways Trainman will eat ham! Perfect cooking for two.
Serves: 2

1 slice fully cooked smoked Ham, 1/2" thick
Pinch each ground cloves and ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter -- melted
1/2 cup Apricot Preserves
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon Cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon ground Ginger
Pinch kosher salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a shallow baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Place ham steak on the prepared pan and sprinkle with ground cloves and cinnamon. Drizzle butter over all and bake about 20 minutes or until the meat begins to sizzle and is heated through.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine apricot preserves, brown sugar, vinegar, ginger and salt. Mix well and heat through.

Cut ham steak into serving pieces and serve with apricot sauce spooned over top.
