CLUB CAR BURGERS
I got this from AllRecipes. It has a lot of embellishments but they all meld into one great flavor. I just had to give it a "Trains" name! :-))))
Serves: 4

1 pound lean ground beef
2 teaspoons onion powder
1/4 cup horseradish mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 slices Cheddar cheese -- or Monterey Jack
4 hamburger buns -- split, toasted

Mix the ground beef, onion powder, honey mustard, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, salt, and brown sugar in a large bowl. Shape into 4 patties. *

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the burgers 5 minutes, turn and cook an additional 5 minutes for medium, or longer until desired doneness is reached.. Top each patty with a slice of Swiss cheese shortly before removing from the skillet; serve on hamburger buns with lettuce and tomato.

* If time permits, the flavors are improved if the patties are refrigerated for about 1 hour.
