1 box chocolate cake mix
1 package instant chocolate pudding mix - large -- or 2 small pkgs
1 container whipped topping - large -- or 2 small pkgs
1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
1/2 cup chopped pecans -- optional
Prepare chocolate cake mix according to package directions using a 13x9x2 baking pan. Let the cake cool completely.
Prepare pudding mix according to package directions. Have all the ingredients at hand.
Into a large serving bowl, layer 1/3 of each ingredients:
- Cake pieces, pudding, wihpped topping/cookie crumbs/chopped nuts
Use another 1/3 of each:
- Cake pieces, pudding, wihpped topping/cookie crumbs/chopped nuts
Use the final 1/3 of each;
- Cake pieces, pudding, wihpped topping/cookie crumbs/chopped nuts
Chill 1-2 hours before serving.
