Serves: 8 Prep.Time :20 2 cans Diced Tomatoes (16-oz.) with juice 1 cup Chicken Broth 1/4 cup Butter or margarine 2 tablespoons Sugar 2 tablespoons finely chopped Onion 1/8 teaspoon Baking Soda 2 cups Heavy Cream In a large heavy saucepan, combine tomatoes, broth, butter, sugar, onion and baking soda; mix well. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Slowly heat cream in a double boiler; simmer but DO NOT BOIL. Gradually stir cream into tomato mixture and serve immediately.
